1. Data Accessed and Processed (Local Only)
To provide accurate predictions and insights, the Petal Chan app processes the following information locally on your device:
- ▸Menstrual Cycle Data: Last period start date, average cycle length, and period duration.
- ▸Health & Fitness Data: Common symptoms (e.g., cramps, headaches, bloating), mood, energy levels, sleep quality, stress levels, and activity levels.
- ▸Personal & Medical History: Age range, birth control methods, and pregnancy history (all optional).
- ▸Customization: An optional display name.
2. How Your Data is Used
This data is used exclusively within the app to calculate cycle predictions, display your personal calendar, and provide personalized cycle-aware food and energy suggestions.

3. Strictly Local Storage (No Collection)
Your data never leaves your device. No accounts, no cloud. The developer does not collect, transmit, sync, or store any of your personal or health data on external servers. Because we do not have access to your data, we cannot and do not share or sell it to any third parties.
4. Data Deletion
You are in complete control of your data. You can instantly delete all health and cycle data by tapping "Reset all data" in the app's Settings menu, or by simply uninstalling the application from your device.
5. Third-Party Services & Analytics
Petal Chan contains zero analytics tracking (e.g., no Firebase, no Google Analytics) and zero advertising networks.
6. Petal Pro & Payments
Advanced features are available as a one-time purchase. All transactions are handled securely by the official Google Play Store and Apple App Store billing systems. Petal Chan developers never see, collect, or store your real name or payment details.

7. Biometric Authentication (Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint)
Petal offers optional biometric authentication, Face ID and Touch ID on iOS, and fingerprint or face unlock on Android, to protect access to your data. We never collect, see, or store any biometric data. Authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system (Apple's Secure Enclave on iOS, Android's BiometricPrompt API on Android). Your biometric data never leaves your device and is never accessible to Petal or its developers.
